Day 28-30 The Ferry Ride
We slept out with the other cheap travelers in the solarium. After riding out butts off we definitely caught up on our sleep.

The ferry stopped at the ports along the way, we got off the boat at Sitka and took a tour around the city. Here is a picture Eric shot of some fishing boats.
We also stopped at Ketchican and bought some food to eat on the boat, aka Ramen Noodles 
Ferry rides are a blast in case you were wondering. We took the same route as the cruise ship, saw whales, watched movies, took hot showers, and met tons of interesting people.

Our evenings were spent hanging out in the lounge drinking Alaskan Ale, discussing life and politics with the hippies, swapping tall tales with the other bikers and listening to the Bartender play his guitar. Fun times were had by all.
It’s about time
It’s about time I finished this site. I had written all the posts up through the end of our trip and had them set up to post one per day.
THEN
It happened, my hosting servers decided to “migrate” my databases because I was getting too much traffic. Not a bad problem to have but bad if during the migration they lost everything I had done in the last month. 
So waited in hope of getting more and better pictures from Eric when I saw him in TN but alas I didn’t get any. So here goes. The rewrite of the finish to our trip…. Enjoy!
It’s about time
It’s about time I finished this site. I had written all the posts up through the end of our trip and had them set up to post one per day.
THEN
It happened, my hosting servers decided to “migrate” my databases because I was getting too much traffic. Not a bad problem to have but bad if during the migration they lost everything I had done in the last month. So waited in hope of getting more and better pictures from Eric when I saw him in TN but alas I didn’t get any. So here goes. The rewrite of the finish to our trip…. Enjoy!

Yeah so It’s been way to long since I was on here
In case anyone still reads this I will be finishing the story in March (once I get back from Indonesia)
A little update since that last one…
We made it to Alaska, it rained a lot (felt like noah) made it to the ferry in haines, 4 day boat ride to Bellingham US of A, road down the coast to laguna beach, chilled, I was missing my lady, road back from Laguna beach to Chatty TN (2400 miles) in 48 hours.
Lived in TN for a while, back to PA in november, back to TN then to GA and got married! Honeymoon in SC adventerous trip back to PA, unpacked, repacked, spent 2 weeks with my new bride in Florida at several homeschoo conventions, back to PA and now I’m heading to Indonesia.
So that is why I havn’t been updating, as for Eric well i’ll let him tell his side of the story. But the story of our great alaskan adventure will be finished!
